    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

I reload everything I shoot and I've actually had an easier time finding components for my 338LM than anything else. About the only rifle I've shot in the last year or so.

    Rifle Scopes New target scope!

Well, that took a while to get some comments LOL. Probably not the target scope a lot of people were expecting! Hi-Lux is definitely not on par with S&B or NF, but it's got its purpose. This gets pretty high marks with the repro 03A1 crowd. Going to get a nice 03 set up with this yet this year I...

    Rifle Scopes New target scope!

Got my new target scope today! LOL! Got this for a 1903 I'm going to have made into a 1903 A1 sniper clone. I could have gone with a true Unertl but they're few and far between anymore. Quite a bit pricier too. But I'm not looking for complete originality with this, just a reproduction model...

Rifle Scopes A little help before I make the same mistake twice

Yes the Cronus is better, and an obvious upgrade. But it's also twice the price of the Tac. I've got a Cronus on both my Ruger RPR's...a 6.5CM and a 338LM. I've got a 6-24 Midas Tac on a 223 AR. A Cronus would be nice on it too, but way overkill for my usage.

Shelves packed full with ammo/bullets/reloading supplies!

Actually Great American Outdoors Group owns BP, Cabelas, and SW. And I'm not real positive for SW's future because of that. It looked great today, but 6 months down the road we'll see! But at least there are different products being offered here that I haven't seen elsewhere. Who knows?!

Shelves packed full with ammo/bullets/reloading supplies!

New Sportsmans Warehouse opened up today at Grand Island, Ne. Didn't know anything about it opening today but a buddy called at noon and asked if I knew anything about it. Said a friend of his texted him it was the grand opening. Now I haven't seen anything about in the news/newspaper, googled...

Rifle Scopes A little help before I make the same mistake twice

The Cronus is a great scope...I've got 2 of them! But my question is are you going to shoot at the same range? Why not another Midas Tac then? It's obvious you like (love) this scope. And 5-25 is going to get you out farther if you need but if you're mainly going to shoot at the same range then...

Gunsmithing AR issue need some advice

A set of pin gauges would be nice to have. But a good set of number drill bits will do the same. And you always need drill bits!

    Bipods?

I'm in my upper 60's and I've found that whatever amount of time it takes me to get those legs spread is well worth it any day!

Free Saturday bump! Don't know the OP but I do know this scope. Built like a tank. I've had one for several years, no problems.

    Soft cases

Understand completely...no argument here. After I hit the button I realized that I hadn't put the china thing in, but too lazy to go back and add it! Really my only complaint on the case.
