I am starting to look at getting a rifle to take my ELR out even farther. I’ve been shooting my 338 Lapua out to a mile consistently and have gone to 2200 yds in Arizona. I have access to a 2 mile range here in Florida and am debating 375 cheytac vs 416 Barrett. I’m leaning towards a desert tech...
I have one of their rifles from this year in 6.5 creedmoor. My other 6.5 creedmoor is a sako trg22 and I know prefer shooting my mpa. Build quality and accuracy is excellent. During break had a 10 shot group under .5 moa. I have been really impressed so far.
That is correct. I have mine in a 50 moa base and have enough elevation to get my 338 lapua past 2200yds. I have been very impressed with mine. I Shoot with a kahles gen 2 and 3, Steiner mx5 and s&b pmII and I think it’s as good as the s&b at 35 I think it’s better than the pmII at 25 in...
I’m with nomad on this. I have the 7-35 on my 338 lapua. I’ve directly conpared it to my kahles,s&b and Steiner mx5 and the clarity and brightness were superior even to the s&b pmII. I may have just gotten a good sample but I remain very impressed and have not had issues with parallax.
I am a pediatric neurosurgeon and my shooting partner is a pediatric general surgeon and we also shoot with a pediatric cardiac surgeon. There is a small contingent of us. More relevant to the discussion above is the treatment. I have seen improvement with IVIG for PANDAS. Below are a few...
I have a similar setup with 50moa base on my 338 trg 42. I have a nightforce 7-35 atacr on it and was able to zero at 100 yds without a problem and about 5 mils still left in the elevation. The s&b has 90 moa vs 100 moa available on the night force so it may be a little tougher to get a 100...
Thank you for the thoughts. I looked at the elite iron bipod and it looks much more solid for elr than my sako trg bipod. I am going to have more questions as I get closer to September and I will pm you.
