I would go with a 18 twist or slower to help gain velocity and keep the jacket in one piece. I shoot a .300 RUM with a 19 twist pushing 130gr Barnes TTSX's at 4200fps

I would agree 100% with this. I don't think it would effect turkeys or other game but if I was seriously trying to kill big mature whitetails I wouldn't do it.
