@kaku3428 Thanks for nice video. Could you please show us some photos of zero stop / clicks mechanism under the elevation and windage turrets? I had a chance to play with some prototypes which were different to this final product.
Meopta factory shop has more than 5pcs of Meotac 3-12x50 in stock, so it does not look like it is out of production. I am also waiting for any user review, but still no luck. No one in my location has it. Probably cost factor.
My opinion: if you level the scope on tilted rifle for shooting in one position (prone), it become not in level if you have to shoot in different position (kneeling position, sitting,...), so it is not a good idea to level the scope for exactly one shooting position. Better solution is leveling...
@JSR FFP and Mils for sure. I am thinking about scope for my Rem 700 40-X as well. Have 7-35 Atacr in my safe, but it is a huge and heavy weight scope. I am probably going with smaller and lighter scope like Hensoldt 4-16. With McMillan stock and 24" barrel it will look much better.
some SH members suggested adjusting diopter in low magnification for better results. My experience does not confirm that method. I have reached better results with higher magnification, parralax set to infinity, scope pointed to the blue sky or when inside building pointed to the mild "milk"...
a little offtopic: it is not only about "nationality" factor, but people´s mind and work habit. If the exact one scope will be made in Japan, Germany / Austria or US, I have no problem to buy it, while being made in ******* (you can fill some countries from Eastern Europe or Asia for example), I...
it is well known that SB PMII ST turrets with 0.2mil hash marks on turrets (with 0.1mil clicks) are one of the best. I thought the same, why they did not put the same marking on DT turrets as well. It is a pitty, it was one of the reasons I went with Atacr F1, which is easy to read and dial. For...
because ATACR F1 scopes. Beast has two part main tube body screwed together while ATACRs are machined from single one piece, Beast has very tall elevation turret with 0.2mil / click + additional 0.1mil lever which is odd and sometimes not easy to use - you should more think about setting 2...
