Order #190708 arrived today. Turret covers are coming with the scopes now (or at least mine did). I spent the evening mounting the scope on my carbine:
Re: G19 or G34 I have all the 9mm variants but I like the fullsize grip of the 17/34 the best so I purchased a threaded barrel for my 34. Now I'm just waiting for Gem-tech to get 1/2-28 pistons back in stock for the Blackside.
Re: SWFA-SS Tax Day Group Buy: 1-6, 5-20, and more! For what it's worth, I called SWFA to update my credit card information (somebody made some fraudulent charges on my card last week) and made an inquiry about the status. Nothing seems to have changed from the previous updates given: They...

Re: SWFA - Facebook 10,000 likes deal - A heads up.... Got my order in and now comes the wait! I've got an AR-10 carbine waiting for the 1-6 and a Rem 700 waiting for the 5-20.
Re: Bolt knobs I'll add another person to the mix - Mark Gordon at Short Action Customs. I've been to Mark's shop and had a few bolt knobs done by him and his work is top notch. He also drills and taps the bolt for a hardened steel screw to address the issue of voids in the handle.
Re: Remington 5R .223 did i get screwed? Good to hear that they are addressing the issue. There's a local shop around here that will let you rent new guns to shoot on the range. They then get put back on display and sold as "new". Were there signs of a scope base being mounted on the rifle?
Re: 5R on its way I agree with the others about putting as much money into the glass as you can. I put a SS 5-20 on mine and couldn't be happier. The non-illuminated is a little over your budget but if you can somehow swing it, you'll have a scope that you may never need to upgrade.
Re: Due any of you use KRG bolt knob on your rifle? I will be picking one up soon - from all the positive reviews here, it sounds like a great product.
