    Why "Hold" edge of plate?

I see a lot of references to holding edge of plate when shooting steels. I get that if the plates are close in there's no need to dial in windage just allow for the wind. But you guys seem to do it at longer ranges, past 600? In the UK a lot of guys dial for wind and aim centre plate and adjust...

It does, but try getting them! They are not available here in the UK, are they in the US? Interestingly I tried a AICS mag in my AXMC Long action and it fed 6.5 CM perfectly.

    Accuracy International Picture Thread

deersniper, It's called a Sniper Hider made here in the UK. It is a protector for the scope, it screws on to the scope and opens by turning the knobs. You can have it open in stages to stop glare. I have a optical clear filter inside it to protect the front scope lens as I shoot comps in a giant...

    Accuracy International Picture Thread

Hi AXMC Yes its velcroed. With my arm length it was slow to retrieve rounds when mounted on the forend. I had to break cheek weld, where it is now its easy to reach the rounds. The quiver is rock solid, i used the stiff 50mm plastic velcro.

    Vibrating Cases To Settle Powder

What's everybody's thoughts on vibrating cases to settle powder so you don't compress loads? I have been doing it for about 10-15 seconds on a vibrating mat so I don't hear that crunching sounds when seating a bullet.
