    Gunsmithing Barrel Fluting!

I am always bum fuzzled by the old removing metal by fluting opens up the bore theory and then the same people will remove .250" of the diameter off the last inch of the barrel and thread it think that is perfectly fine. I have fluted a bunch of barrels and never seen any difference other than...

    Gunsmithing Chamber flush system questions

I am using an air operated diaphram pump and I think it works great. No need for a pressure regulating valve. It pumps 1:1 bases on the supply air pressure. So if you want 80 pound oil pressure just supply 80 pound of air. Gary

Gunsmithing Robert Gradous chambering on his HAAS TL-1

Wow Chad, 20 barrels a day is impressive by any ones standards. I can't even imagine one man doing the set up on 20 barrels in one day let alone all of the rest, that truly is amazing. I am wondering how you handle the muzzle end of the barrel in the machining center. The TL-1 is enough like...

Left hand trigger on right hand action

A good option is to get a Jewell with a bolt release and bottom safety which puts the safety lever in the trigger guard. I like the bottom safety and often shoot right handed actions left handed and contrary to many here I think the Jewell triggers are far superior to any factory Remington...

    Gunsmithing Cerakote C or H?

I am sure it has been discussed here many times but I can't seem to find it. I am wondering which type Cerakote is being used for the multicolor camo patterns that require stencils to make. I read that the H series does not dry until baked and that it can't be recoated after baking so I am...
