Brass is on the 7th firing. I anneal every other firing and trim every 4th, not that it needs much with this mild load. Measured case head expansion and it was only .0003 from virgin so this load is certainly non stressful to the rifle. Should get a lot of life out of this barrel. Primer...
Don't usually comment on accuracy from one of my rifles but I have recently completed a Swede SE and after 5 range trips the accuracy is truly amazing. I am a benchrest shooter and it takes a lot in the accuracy department to impress me. Groups are right at .500 at 300 yards and 1.25 inches...
It is an ok scope for general use but the reticule is too thick for really fine work. It seems to be a good scope for the money, I do not regret the purchase but there are better options for fine work. I guess I am old school but I find there really is nothing I cannot do with a $299 SWFA SS...
Everyday gun would be the Buckmark. Favorite would be the High Standard Hamden Victor. Conceal gun would be the Bersa..........yes that's right, the Bersa. Totally reliable for the past several years. YMMV.
I have the black wood riser block with the alum rail slot in it marked ANSCHUTZ available and also a hook which is a Freeland. Both are available if you have an interest.
