6.5x55 Swede SE....true sub quarter minute rifle

Brass is on the 7th firing. I anneal every other firing and trim every 4th, not that it needs much with this mild load. Measured case head expansion and it was only .0003 from virgin so this load is certainly non stressful to the rifle. Should get a lot of life out of this barrel. Primer...

6.5x55 Swede SE....true sub quarter minute rifle

Don't usually comment on accuracy from one of my rifles but I have recently completed a Swede SE and after 5 range trips the accuracy is truly amazing. I am a benchrest shooter and it takes a lot in the accuracy department to impress me. Groups are right at .500 at 300 yards and 1.25 inches...

Rifle Scopes Sig Sauer Tango 6 3-18x44

It is an ok scope for general use but the reticule is too thick for really fine work. It seems to be a good scope for the money, I do not regret the purchase but there are better options for fine work. I guess I am old school but I find there really is nothing I cannot do with a $299 SWFA SS...

    Most reliable 22 LR pistol

Everyday gun would be the Buckmark. Favorite would be the High Standard Hamden Victor. Conceal gun would be the Bersa..........yes that's right, the Bersa. Totally reliable for the past several years. YMMV.

Most reliable, accurate 22lr pistol ?? Cost isn't a factor just looking for quality

Freedom Arms if you can use a revolver. If you need a self shucker I would opt for an old Hamden mfg. High Standard Victor or even better, a 10X.

    22LR Benchrest Rifle

Pillaring and bedding a flat bottom 2013 is dead easy. Just have to muck around with the 4 bolt recesses which is a bit of a pain but not all that bad.

    22LR Benchrest Rifle

Shoot 'em both and take the more accurate...duh. If you can't do that take the 2013, way better resale. NOBODY SELLS A WINNING BENCHREST 22 to a stranger, they get passed from friend to friend who KNOW the capabilities of the particular rifle. If you ain't on the inside.......you're on the...

    Rifle Scopes Twisted Leupold FFP

Friend offered me a 6.5X20 VXIII scope for the price of a short time in Taiwan. Needless to say I am the new owner. Really did not check it out too close as he said it would not hold zero so I figured I would return it in the winter for a rebuild but then I noticed it had a faded gold sticker...
