Is the 2x12 a fixed focus scope?

It is an ok scope for general use but the reticule is too thick for really fine work. It seems to be a good scope for the money, I do not regret the purchase but there are better options for fine work. I guess I am old school but I find there really is nothing I cannot do with a $299 SWFA SS...

Everyday gun would be the Buckmark. Favorite would be the High Standard Hamden Victor. Conceal gun would be the Bersa..........yes that's right, the Bersa. Totally reliable for the past several years. YMMV.

I have the black wood riser block with the alum rail slot in it marked ANSCHUTZ available and also a hook which is a Freeland. Both are available if you have an interest.

Pillaring and bedding a flat bottom 2013 is dead easy. Just have to muck around with the 4 bolt recesses which is a bit of a pain but not all that bad.

Friend offered me a 6.5X20 VXIII scope for the price of a short time in Taiwan. Needless to say I am the new owner. Really did not check it out too close as he said it would not hold zero so I figured I would return it in the winter for a rebuild but then I noticed it had a faded gold sticker...
