    KRG Whiskey-3 Chasis

I've been considering one of these ever since they announced that they were working on them. I've got a Sako TRG-S (M995) that I want to put a heavier barrel on. In order to do so I also need to replace the stock. Because the trigger group is built into the TRG-S stock that also means new...

    Rifle Scopes Scrome Scopes?

I'm not really looking for anything right now, but I stumbled onto Scrome and I'm curious if anyone has any experience or knows anything about them? http://www.scrome.com/lunettes.html http://scromescopes.com/

    Sneak peak at Whiskey-3 Chassis

Re: Sneak peak at Whiskey-3 Chassis For you TRG-42 owners, why is this stock more desirable than the factory stock? What is the weight comparison of the two?

    Rifle Scopes Nikon-M-223

Re: Nikon-M-223 I considered one of these in 1-4x earlier this year but the lack of illuminated reticle was the deciding factor for me as well. I hunt a lot at night and really need the illumination. I went with the Leatherwood CMR1-4x24 instead. It is a really nice scope, especially for...

Rifle Scopes In my Hand -- Vortex Viper 1-4X

Re: In my Hand -- Vortex Viper 1-4X I thought these have been around for a while? Maybe they have been advertised but just not available? I had been looking at these on Vortex's web site for a few months. Have none been delivered up until now. I was also looking at their HD 1-4x, are they...

Rifle Scopes Any good scope retailers in Kansas?

Or Missouri, Nebraska, or Oklahoma? I would like to take a look at some Vortex and Valdada scopes, but I cannot find anywhere that stocks them.

Rifle Scopes IOR 2-12x36 Spartan or NF 2-10x32 on LMT MWS

Re: IOR 2-12x36 Spartan or NF 2-10x32 on LMT MWS "Made in USA" does not really mean to much to me. I've got a S&B and a couple of Zeiss scopes and honestly I'm glad they are made in Germany. I don't think they would be what they are if they were made in USA. The sad fact about American...

Rifle Scopes IOR Valdada or Vortex Razor HD?

I am going to buy a scope to mount on my SIG 556 classic around the first of the year. This is used mostly for coyote hunting. I really like the IOR Valdada 1.5-8x30. However, I have heard some rumblings about quality issues with Valdada. I have also considered the Vortex Razor HD 1-4x24...

Rifle Scopes 5X25 Schmidt & Bender

Re: 5X25 Schmidt & Bender I've got a Schmidt & Bender PMII 5-25x56 mounted on my Sako TRG-S .338 Lapua. I bought the rifle with 55 rounds of brass for $550 so that puts the rifle right around $495. Its kind of strange when you think about it, but after using the S&B I wouldn't have anything...

    Rifle Scopes Good Spotting scope?

Re: Good Spotting scope? That is some good information regarding comparison of mid-priced spotting scopes. I've been shopping around for good mid-grade spotter for a while and was very interested in the Alpen. It is about the price I was shooting for but I also have been looking at Nikons...

    Gunsmithing 60 in/lbs enough?

Re: 60 in/lbs enough? I'm not sure of the thread size/pitch. They are TPS tactical rings.

Rifle Scopes Schmidt & Bender PMII 12.5-50x56mm

Re: Schmidt & Bender PMII 12.5-50x56mm 96 MOA with the Mil adjustments. I bought this scope because of its large amount of adjustment. It came down to the Hensoldt and this S&B PMII and the S&B had quite a bit more adjustment. With my 20 MOA base I think I can use this out to 2000 yards...

    Gunsmithing 60 in/lbs enough?

I ordered a Seekonk 65 in/lbs torque tool and when I received it, it is actaully a 60 in/lbs tool. Will this be good enough to attach my rings to the base or should I send it back and get the 65?
