I love the 10x maximum power and the slim 32mm profile of the new Vortex scope but I'm not a huge fan of the FFP setup. Does anyone know if Vortex plans to make this scope in SFP? If not, what are some alternatives to this scope with 10x power and a slim profile. Preferrably something cheaper...

I'm looking to build the most accurate and repeatable AR15 possible for under $2,000 including an optic. Basically I'm looking to spend around $1,400 on the rifle and $600 on the optic or so. My budget isn't necessarily fixed but I'm trying to be as conservative as possible. What are you guys...

I have a Remington 700 VS chambered in .308. I just bought a Weaver Super Slam 3-15x50 scope that I will be placing on the rifle soon. I plan on using a weaver 20 moa base on the Remington. What height weaver ring do I need to order? Thanks in advance for any help or any suggestions on my gear.
