Hello, Next month I am taking the GPS Sniper/Counter Sniper and advanced course. I would like your opinions as to whether my Millet 4x16x50mm scope is good enough for the course...? I don't get to shoot beyond 600 yards as I will be doing in the class. My scope is fine so far for 5-600 yards...

So I am Zero'd in with my AICS Rem700 .308 with 168grn TAP Police Ammo, my scope manual says at 600 yards the drop is 92 inches and 1mil equals 21.6 inches, so 4 mils equals 86.4 inches...therefore I need to come up 8 clicks as each click equals .75 inches... The part I dont get is why 8 clicks...
