    F T/R Competition .284 win and H1000 powder

Re: .284 win and H1000 powder I don't see why it may not work. It being a single based powder, would or at least should increase your bbl's life spand. I for one would be interested in your results if you end up trying it! H1000 is the go to powder in the 6SLR & Competition Match rounds...

    F T/R Competition Shooting a .223 at 600 yards

Re: Shooting a .223 at 600 yards The score I shot at the Fullbore match this past sunday was a 444-20X. I have done worse and I have done better. 438 - 15X I think is my lowest score and my highest score was in a Palma match at Perry, 449-30X. All shot at 8, 9 & 1K with the 223 and the 90's...

    F T/R Competition Shooting a .223 at 600 yards

Re: Shooting a .223 at 600 yards Ok, I got a chance to try 2000MR in my 223 with the 90's and so far I like what I have seen. There is a Fullbore match coming up to which I will give it a whirl. Running 27.1 grs under the Berger 90 it is pushing the bullet a 150 fps faster, which is about...

    168gr SMK at 1000 yards

Re: 168gr SMK at 1000 yards G1 factors are for Flatbased bullets, use the G7 factors for Boattail bullets. If you use the JBM website, use the bullet selection that has (Litz) out beside it, this will have the G7 factor already included.

    168gr SMK at 1000 yards

Re: 168gr SMK at 1000 yards The SIE 30 cal 168 gr bullet was designed for 300 Meter shooting. It will do right decent at 600 yards, but the original intention was for this bullet was not to be shot pass 300 meters.

Re: 168gr SMK at 1000 yards Last Monday while we were doing our Monday evening leaguesquadded practice, there was a new shooter there with a Remmy 5R, with Hornady 168 match. It was a calm day for wind (worth 1/4 moa with my 223 and Berger 90's) Well we decided that we would let hime shoot a...

    1/14 Twist .308

Re: 1/14 Twist .308 It is more suited to the newer 155 class of bullets, ie: Berger 155.5 Fullbore, Sierra 155 (2156) Palma and the Berger 155 Hybrid. But works good with the older ones too, since the generally jump well! I would say that it is a good chamber for the Berger 155VLD too, but I...

Re: Best overall SA 308 bolt face competition caliber? My next long range gun is going to be a 22BR with the Berger 90VLD. I have been playing with the 90's in a 223 with very, very good results!

    1/14 Twist .308

Re: 1/14 Twist .308 Int the past, at the World Championship Team and Individual palma matches, all teams were subject to have to use the ammo provided by the host country. Factory ammo had to be used and it was 308 only. Well most countries that participated in these World Championships were...
