Re: RRA vs DPMS hey im not dissing DPMS - I love the rifle...for the same money in a 223 instead of a 308 i did get better build quality - (upper & lower match perfectly. 4# 2-stage trigger...etc)...like said it could be breakin - but the price was the same and I do know its more expensive...

Re: RRA vs DPMS I have a RRA 16" Predator Pursuit, and a dpms L-308 24" .308 - apples to oranges but the build quality on the RRA is above that of the DPMS....no failures of any kind - DPMS - had a stuck case after 76 rounds of Winchester Power point factory ammo. May be a break in issue...

Re: this thanks fellas - yeah - its a completely stock marlin 7000 (not the 7000T that has the fancy stock on it). Shot from a front bag on top of a yamaha rhino while sitting on the bed of a truck...lol just for reference sake what kind of CTC groups are shot in competitions at 50yds?

Re: Remington R25 gotcha - my bad....you could hit the buttpad lightly with a sanding block - I did mine with some oil and a block and it looks & feels great...

Re: DPMS LR 308 Barrels? Who make the stock barrels? Has no-one called McGowan and Wilson and asked them? I am sure they would like to brag about it as I think they are generally taken as very accurate .308 AR's????!!!
