Re: Honest Opinion: Berger and Barnes bullet I use the 165gr Barnes TSX in my new .308 and it's been absolutely lethal so far. I have not used the other, but can vouch that the Barnes has excellent killing power. In my 270, I use Hornady light mags which I've also never had a problem with.

Re: San Antonio, TX Long Range Class I was actually at the Bullet Hole this past Sunday and saw what had to be another Hide member. USMC Sniper shirt, full on sniper rifle, crushing the 300 yard targets.

I'm new to long range shooting and live in San Antonio, TX. Does anyone here know of a long range shooting course in San Antonio so I can get some of the basics down? Or alternatively, anyone in the area looking to teach the basics to a noob?

I am looking for a new left handed prarie dog gun. I have narrowed it down to a Tikka T3 chambered in 22-250. Does this sound like a good choice or is there a better alternative for the $? I am not looking to spend too much or do much after market work.

I was given a new rifle as a gift and it came with a Weaver Duplex Dot Grand Slam 6-20x40. Does anyone have any experience with this scope? If so, what are your thoughts? I haven't had a chance to take it out to the range yet, but I want to make sure this is the scope I'm going to keep.

Re: Custom fitted Pelican, Storm, cases. Show um up! I've got a Rem SPS Varmint with a 26" barrel. I was looking into getting the Pelican 1750 from Pelican-Case.com. Does anyone know of someone in the San Antonio, TX area who can precisely cut the foam to fit my rifle?
