Anybody know what kind of dog this would be.
No collar and seems nice.
Visited the shop this evening.
We shared some hamburger patties.
I had a couple of venison rib bones in the freezer that seemed to be enjoyed
Drank up two great big bowls of cold water and left as quietly as she came.
Congrats on your new dog.

The wife and I just got our puppy today. Enzo the Cane Corso. Born on 7/3/25. Perfect national dog day for us.

follow up on things would be good to know. i have read that they are a challenge. there is a dog site on YT that the guy sounds like he knows some stuff. evaluates diff breeds. say he has one. not lap dogs i think.

We did a lot of homework prior to picking this breed. They are in fact a ton of work, but also highly intelligent. Training never stops with the Corso.

This is our Hank, he left us last week after 15 years... he was the BEST Boy!

Young Oscar is now the furry man of the house at just over a year old.

He's coming into his own nicely. Maybe after a bit we'll find a furry buddy for him
Sorry for your loss.

Hank looks like he was the dude. Oscar needs a buddy when you’re ready.

What a kind and gentle face.
Fifteen years together, I'll bet you have some great memories
My condolences on your loss

Is there an update? It'd be pretty neat if she was scoping you out for a takeover

I might be mistaking but in my 37 years I can only remember my dad crying twice when his dad died and today. After work I went and helped him take Red to be put down. Red was 8 months old when we got him in 2011 . Red was the only animal I trusted around my two oldest 9 and almost 4 . He would never hurt anyone. Even if they hurt him.

My condolences.
One of the hardest things in life to do

The Last Battle

If it should be that I grow frail and weak And pain should keep me from my sleep, Then will you do what must be done, For this — the last battle — can’t be won. You will be sad I understand,
But don’t let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test. We have had so many happy years,
You wouldn’t want me to suffer so.
When the time comes, please, let me go. Take me to where to my needs they’ll tend, Only, stay with me till the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.
I know in time you will agree
It is a kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved. Don’t grieve that it must be you
Who has to decide this thing to do;
We’ve been so close — we two — these years, Don’t let your heart hold any tears.
