I must admit that I shot groundhog in front of his hole from about 30-40 yards with my 7 mm Mauser w/ 170 grain bullet. The body landed on the other side of the hole. The impact blew it back 4 to 5’…..

Let's put that in perspective though. It would be like hitting a human with a small artillery piece, size and scale do come into play. It is not an apples to apples comparison.

So I’m supposed to believe Bibi made the call because Charlie was turning on Israel. With all of the resources Mossad/CIA/Deep State etc, they opted for an open air gunshot with an elaborate tranny love story involving local police and the Feds. They’re awesome at this but managed to miscalculate the overwhelming support for Kirk and TPUSA. If Bibi truly wanted him to shut up, this assassination turned him into a martyr and more people than ever are listening to his words. Thousands of new chapter requests and his old videos are everywhere. Also the loudest voices claiming Israel put out the hit are still living so there’s that as well. Mossad doesn’t screw up this bad.

Thinking critically, a real hit on Kirk and TPUSA would be a character assassination. Mossad and the CIA are perfectly capable of staging a salacious drug overdose or erotic asphyxiation. Imagine the story of Kirk found dead in a seedy hotel room with another guy while millions is missing from Turning Point and surprise there’s child porn on his phone. That would be an immediate shut down of all things Kirk and Turning Point would be bankrupt. In the digital age, this is how someone gets silenced.

After 55 years of study of the Bible, reading numerous commentaries, taking classes on religious issues at university, I came to the non astounding conclusion, that the Gosple is really simple, and need little depating. EXACTLY. That part was obviously implied from the “groundhog” part of my post. I assumed this group had an IQ high enough to “glean” that detail from my description. Sorry if I misread the room……

Ok, I’ve only been catching snippets of this thread, but there’s some discussion about what bullets do to bodies, specifically throwing them around. It’s pretty simple math, and an easily understood concept.

Momentum = mass x velocity. Conservation of momentum in an elastic collision dictates that any momentum lost by the bullet upon impact with a target, is imparted to that target.

Ok, let’s assume a perfectly elastic collision, where all of the momentum of the bullet is imparted to the target. If we give the bullet a mass of 180 grains, and a velocity of 3000 feet per second, we can easily calculate its momentum. Let’s assign the target a weight of 190 lbs, make it at rest, and exclude the effects of gravity, friction, the elastic nature of an organic target, etc. I’ve defined an idealized scenario where the target will retain all of the momentum imparted by the bullet. Upon impact, the body would accelerate to 0.4 feet per second.

Add back in gravity; loss of momentum from sound, heat, bullet fragmentation, and the elastic nature of the target and; it should be easy to see that bullets don’t throw man sized targets any appreciable distance.

I know other guys here have more experience with .30-06 than I do. I've killed one deer with it, watched my son kill 2 others with the same rifle. Mine and 1 of his went thru the shoulder socket and passed thru. And no, I don't mean the shoulder blade.

Every deer I’ve shot with a Core-Lokt was a pass through. However, I’ve recovered bullets just under the hide of the opposite side using rifles up to the .300 Weatherby.

Good point. Surgeon states “high powered , high velocity”, but the coroner recovered the projectile.. unless they’re one and the same, the surgeon would not have known caliber unless informed, or by examination of the wound?

Yes, usually a rib or two and even a shoulder with Core-Lokts. I Haven’t used them for many years though. As far as I know we don’t know what bullet was used. I would say it is possible but very uncommon for a bullet fired from a 30-06 to not pass through.

Unless there were some type of protection being used that caused a change of trajectory from the front redirecting the projectile upwards, or it was captured in the rear from a through.
It’s already been stated here several times there was no protection being used (don’t need to remind me). Just difficult to process this.

Edit: the back just looks anatomically incorrect.

I swear to God the trolls in my town.......People been asking about memorial events and the Lib-trolls are out in force.

It probably a good thing i left early for a match as the useful idiots were out protesting and if I saw any signs i take issue with I might have to have a word of polite discussion.

It really adds nothing, i just gotta vent or I'm gonna end up in county lockup.

A Frolic of His Own, by William Gaddis, is the novel. And it does a great job satirizing our "justice" system. When you consider he wrote and published the novel over 30 years ago, you might say he predicted the current situation.

He more or less predicted the junk bond etc fallout on Wall Street during the late 80s/early 90s, with a novel called "JR" that he wrote & published in the 1970s.
