    Unless I'm missing something, this seems like a pretty solid deal - then again, I've don't know Burris quality or their reputation, so I'm only assuming it is and that's why I'm asking here. I'm more curious about the glass quality to be honest - seems like it has all the other features...

    FN SPR A5M with 20" barrel in .308 The test target that came with my rifle had a .17" group with FGMM. That's insane accuracy and especially considering the barrel is chrome lined. For a factory rifle, you'd be hard pressed to beat the SPR, especially in your price range.

    If they were SOCOM issued, I would imagine they had the SOCOM reticle, which doesn't have the circles.

    Are you referring to the Gen I and II Elcan models? Or the Gen III Specter DR? It's been well documented that early Gen Elcan Specter DRs had the issues you're talking about, but what about the Gen III? Have you tested the latest Gen III Specter DR in the field?

    I should have mentioned the prices. The MK3 CBR sells for something like $1699 - that's a pretty killer deal considering all the shit you're getting in that gun.

    After installing the SR-25 URX on the CMMG MK3 CBR and updating the flash hider to a KAC, what other differences would remain between the CMMG and the KAC? Visually, would there be any major difference?

    This actually sounds like the best option - at least the most affordable - to take a complete CMMG MK3 CBR and make it look as close as possible to the M-110K. It's a shame that KAC wants an arm and a leg for pretty much any of their shit.

    $800? Jesus. Maybe I'd just be better off buying an ArmaLite AR-10 and dressing it up like a KAC M-110. Are there any other (cheaper) BCGs that are compatible/reliable with the SR-25?
