Gunsmithing Where to get oddball taps

Re: Where to get oddball taps I ended up taking a screw to a local shop and thay made me a quick and easy tap based on it and threaded my part at no charge. Nice guy and he apparently liked the challenge. It worked perfectly... I gotta ask if I had the thread pitch correct. It wouldn't fit...

Gunsmithing Where to get oddball taps

Can anyone give me a source to purchase a couple oddball through hole taps ? I need a #3-20 tpi and #3-24 tpi tap to complete restoration of a couple Civil War era firearms. I assume it will have to be a custom job... sometimes staying 100% original is hard :-) Thanks,

do we have a divorce lawyer in the house?

Re: do we have a divorce lawyer in the house? Expect to come out of it with your balls and your toothbrush and still feel you won and you'll have aquired the correct frame of mind. That "lets be civil" talk generally only lasts until her first sit down with a lawyer. That's when she will...

Headline - Marines posed with Nazi SS symbol

Have you all seen the latest "blemish" on the Corp's Scout Snipers. Headline: "Marines posed with Nazi SS symbol in Afghanistan" I am simply amazed at the fact that that HQ USMC seems to have dummied up on this... sounds like the guys in question may be in for a rough ride. Someone needs to...

Russian Film Clip - Movie - WW2 Female Snipers

This YouTube user made a short clip from a popular Russian movie. The film was about Russia's female snipers in WW2. Unlike what we would expect here in a movie regarding this subject, instead of big tits and sex their latest films are pretty much fact based. This clip was part of the movie...

Hug Your Puppies!....and give them a treat!

Re: Hug Your Puppies!....and give them a treat! What he said ^^^^^ Blindly feeding "grocery store" food to a dog is akin to setting up your new GAP rifle with a $20 scope. Sure natural "good" dog food is expensive... but you will make up for the cost with a healthy dog with few Vet bills and...

Re: Rare - 37mm AP Anti-tank round (M13) M51B1 1943 I gave $45 for it and consider that a real deal... finding one in new condition and especially with it's original storage tube is a collectors dream. Sans the tube in average to very good condition about $65 - $125 depending on condition...

    Photos Rare - 37mm AP Anti-tank round (M13) M51B1 1943

New gunshow find, and now quite rare. A "new" 37mm M13 armor piercing anti-tank drill round still in it's container. It's identical to the M51B1 APC-BCT round except instead of a primer it has a threaded plug. These were used for gun drills... The M51B1 APC-BCT (Armor Piercing...

Emergency Management Experience ? Job Posting

Lost a fellow deputy & a good friend today

Re: Lost a fellow deputy & a good friend today Sorry for your loss. It always seems so unfair when a good person dies so unexpectedly, especially at a young age. Seems to happen that way all too often these days... just like with high school athletes. We've had two teenagers drop dead...
