    Ideas

Re: Ideas MK12 theme is pretty good. I am trying to cut out as much extra as needed. For example the larue stealth sniper uppers with 20 inch barrel and 12 or 13.2 handguard that would be pretty good. But i have heard it is possible to get nice uppers with equal or better quality for cheaper...

    Ideas

Ok, i just bought a AR15 stripped lower receiver on gunbroker and the model is Aero Precision. Aero seems to be a great company that makes good products from what i have read. I am looking for ideas for this build. The goal of this build is to use .223 ammo with 77 grain bullets. Basically a...

    Pick my next rifle!

Re: Pick my next rifle! I would go with a M24. Here is why i say that. I built a M24 as close to spec as i could...95% minus optics and rings/base and trigger 9i have a 40x trigger on it). I was doing some shooting today to 1000 yards and i was hitting the target. Granted i probably screwed...

Stoney point stix OR PRS Tripod

Re: Stoney point stix OR PRS Tripod The HOG saddle does look very nice. After watching Art of the Precision Rifle, i see the advantages of either Stix or a tripod setup. Both have ups and downs. I think i would try the stix at first since there pretty cheap and would allow me some flexibility...

    TAB GEAR is Awesome !!

I had a multicam TAB GEAR rear bag but i found the bag that they sold was a little short. What i mean by short was i use a M24 stock and there is a height difference where the stock should be theres the screws that move the buttpad. I asked Tony Burkes if he could make me the same bag but 2...

    My, "I hate chassis" Rant

Re: My, "I hate chassis" Rant When i had my M24 clone built i wanted only a factory recoil lug. The lug was surface ground by the gunsmith and it is installed on the gun and working fine. I prefer a factory lug thats surface ground. I see no reason for a fat recoil lug over a surface ground...

Stoney point stix OR PRS Tripod

Re: Stoney point stix OR PRS Tripod The tripod i agree with you would be very stable but slow on deploying it in a hurry while the stix would be just the opposite. Hmm. I wonder what people use in the competitions if a tripod or stix are allowed. Heath

Stoney point stix OR PRS Tripod

Re: Army M24 Build Thread On the ring caps allens i just go finger tight and then a slight turn more. I use a L shaped allen key and use the short side in the screw and again i go gently..hand tight and a 1/8th turn approx to make sure snug..but not TOO snug. My torque wrench for the action...

    Army M24 Build Thread

Re: Army M24 Build Thread I have no idea on the cost to do that. It is possible for you to do it if you have a mill and a tap for the screw holes. But to do it yourself you need to know exactly where the holes are are far as dimensions to where they need to be drilled and hole dimension and...
