    That's the one thing with this whole layoff thing is that I've gotten good at identifying the mail truck, UPS truck, and FedEx truck by sound of the engine and immediate go grab stuff. I'm by the front door in my office crunching out job apps every day so I get first crack at it.

    Different intentions with both of those. The BLK wasn't intended to replace existing calibers, just to do better than 5.56 in short barrels and offer a viable subsonic round that cycles in a factor configured upper. That's generally it.

    Good question, and while I don't have an answer for that directly I could say that I would expect barrel life to be better so if there's a deficit on brass life the cost could be offset by the barrel longevity.
