    .338 L/m oal primative measure

    Shooting .338 L/M in a savavge 110 ba. I took a fired case and put a 250 grain lapua scenar hpbt in and slowly closed the bolt and took a measurement of 3.704 . My sierra reload book says a max of 3.681 , a difference of .023 . Questions . Was my measurement viable and if so what would you guys...

    Correct order for reloading

    I know everbody does it a little different, but would like to hear what you guys feel is the best order for brass prep. i.e. Anneal, trim , resize , clean , chamfer, reclean , tumble etc. etc.

    I'm reloading .338 L/M with 83 grains of IMR4350 and after 4-5 reloadings I'm getting an outer "burn through" band around the base of the brass. Is this normal after so few reloadings ? would changing to a different powder help ? Thanks for any help ypu can offer

    Re: looking for a good scope in the 500 to 600 range.. Go to SWAF's website . "Hawke" 8-32x56 about $450. Have one on a Savage 110 .338 L/M and no problems at all. Or a Millett 6-25x56 also a very good scope for the money. Clear optics , no problems holding zero
