    Re: Savage showed up yesterday. planning on starting off with a Springfield Armory 10x56 on it. i already have the scope and its clear out to 1000 and has the built in bdc. i already have this scope from another rifle. make go with something else later. havent decided yet. will up date next...

    Ordered a 10FCP in .308 with a Mcmillan stock and bottom metal. Now all im waiting on is the rail to come in so i can hit the range. anxious to see how she shoots.

    Re: 270 to 300WM conversion i had a rem 700 swapped from a 270 to a 300wm, cost me about a grand not counting new stock and bottom metal. went one size up on a barrell and fluted it to keep it light.

    Got my Magpul installed last night

    was a easy install, cant say how much nicer this feels, cant wait to get it to the range and try it out. going to change out the scope this weekend.

    Range Report Made it to the range yesterday

    Got to play with my 30-06 some, stretched its legs out to 600 yrds. not bad for a hunting rifle. go to play with my 300 win mag too. found it likes 200 grain accubonds better than 185 grain bergers and 208 grain amax's

    Re: Savage rifles, why not? watched a out of the box 243 shoot out to 600 yds yesterday with a bushnell scope. tried to stretch it out to 1000 but the scope didnt have target turrents on it and couldnt get the elevation right on it.. my son has a 223 savage that shoots well at 600 yrds.
