Just want to say these are great and pretty much a must for the swfa scopes if you are running the turrets. I have them on all my swfa scopes.

I personally like the longer heavy barrels unless i have to carry it around to hunt. I like the velocity of the longer barrels and the ability to chase the lands after you got a couple thousand rounds down range. YMMV
I am interested in shooting some NRL22 matches and training with my son but I am left handed. My 6.5 is a left hand gun so I would rather train with a .22 that is also left handed.

Unless you are for sure going to reload I think the 6.5 is the way to go. its nice to have access to factory ammo if you need it. Sometimes its just easier to buy some ammo for a match rather than have to reload the night before.
mine always says the elevation is 0 too. But i think as long as the meter populates the rest of the fields it is able to calculate the DA. I could be wrong. I left it at 0 at the match last weekend and my solutions were right on... I was afraid to mess with it lol.
I always have a small med kit/trauma kit in my truck so its pretty much wherever I go.
I will have to remember that about the FSA on the med kit stuff!! i had enough at the end of last year to buy a nice kit!
