Rifle Scopes Meopta Meopro Rifle Scopes

Re: Meopta Meopro Rifle Scopes Meopro is a classic line. Why don't you check out Meostar or ZD series? They are brighter than any US made scope, quite robust and reasonably priced.

    Schultz&Larsen rifles

Hi, I am looking foward to hear Scandinavian or British colleagues' views on these legendary rifles. S&L's website sucks, so I assume they produce superb stuff and don't need any advertising. Therefore, I would be eager to learn your opinion on their quality, accuracy and pricing.

    Tikka T3 223 owners, input

Re: Tikka T3 223 owners, input I have some experience with both of them, so: - tikka tactical has an adjustable cheek piece - it has a manganese-phosphatized barrel (it looks really nice -CDI) - it is being told that in the process of barrel selection at the factory, tikka tactical gets the...

Steyr Tactical Elite, yes or no?

Re: Steyr Tactical Elite, yes or no? tactical elite is nice, but it is overpriced. In Europe it costs almost the same as Sako trg. What I like about Elite is that it is more compact than trg. if it was 20% cheaper I would buy it. Otherwise I would go with sako or sauer.

    Bipod for Howa Varmint

    Bipod for Howa Varmint

Hi, I decided to purchase a bipod for my howa an thus wondering if you could toss some ideas around as to what features are critical in this regard. A swivel should be considered as necessary? Moreover, is there a reasonable alternative to Harris? If not, which of the Harris' models would you...

    .223 Caliber. Remington 700LTR or Tikka T3 V Stain

Re: .223 Caliber. Remington 700LTR or Tikka T3 V Stain they both shoot great. Tikka has a on most accurate rifles out of the box, the stock has better ergonomy than Remington's, much more smoother action, better trigger. What I do not like is plastic mag. The cons are- little availability of...

Cheap is good, good is cheap.

Is this why 99% of all custom build rifles posted on the Hide are based on Remington 700 action?

    Savage 10 PC v. Howa 1500 Varminter

Re: Savage 10 PC v. Howa 1500 Varminter From 2 rifles I would go with a heavier one. Does anyone know what's the barrel diameter in Savage 10 PC?

    Savage 10 PC v. Howa 1500 Varminter

Re: Savage 10 PC v. Howa 1500 Varminter For now I am leaning towards Howa because it's heavier, however bedding&trigger seems to be better in Savage. I like also detachable mags.

    Savage 10 PC v. Howa 1500 Varminter

Savage 10 Precision Carbine or Howa 1500 Varmint in 223? Savage is lighter, has a detachable mag, accustock+acutrigger, 1:9 twist, so one can use heavier bullets. Howa is heavier (which I personally like) and a little cheaper . Which one of those 2 should be more accurate?
