Suppressors Anyone shot any Q company 30cal silencers

Background: I ordered my lower for my 300 SBR build last week. I want to order a suppressor and do all my NFA paperwork at the same time. I also own an AR in 308 that is fairly accurate. The can will spend most of its time on the SBR, but will see use on both. It will be used as a range toy, a...

To SBR or not to SBR with a suppressor

Sorry about being off topic. What kind of rail system is that? I like it a lot. Also do you handload? Or use cheap ammo? If you experiment with anything that may be unstable, one baffle striking will deadline the whole weapons system. If you don't use integral suppressed, you would not lose use...

Rifle Scopes Vortex PST Gen II 5-25x

Just looked at the vendor website sportoptics. It is nice site, it show all the available reticle options. I likes that a lot. I like the reticle for the MOA version http://www.sportoptics.com/vortex-viper-pst-rifle-scopes/vortex-viper-pst-5255.aspx

Rifle Scopes Vortex PST Gen II 5-25x

Is this a good scope fist focal plane scope for the cost. I am planning to buy a used one from this site later. I plan to use it to learn distance shooting up to a thousand yards for paper and targets. I would also like your hear other suggestions for quality scopes in this mag range. For...

Entry level precision bolt in 6.5 Creedmoor, a lefty can use. Savage vs Weatherby

Thanks for the info. It truely is appreciated. I think I am definitely going to buy a lefty rifle in 6.5 CM. Just went to gunbroker and searched left handed bolt rifles in 6.5 CM. Choices seem pretty limited. I know the building info is probably the best route. Unfortunately I am more than...

    6x45 or 6.5 Creedmoor

Sorry to thread jack, I am currently looking at the rifle you have chosen in 6.5 CM. What other rifles did you look at? And what got you to settle on this one. I have thread going about entry level precision rifles. Your input would be appreciated.

Entry level precision bolt in 6.5 Creedmoor, a lefty can use. Savage vs Weatherby

These are all good questions. I am going clarify my thought process, and actual situation for you. I have an Ar in 308, setup to shoot well for 0-600 yards. Glass is a good 1-8x. I already have a mat, great spotting scope, and log book. Truthfully proper glass for longer distances, and free time...

Entry level precision bolt in 6.5 Creedmoor, a lefty can use. Savage vs Weatherby

I will look at them now. Anyone have an opinion of the lower priced Weatherby options in the initial post? All are guaranteed sub MOA.

Entry level precision bolt in 6.5 Creedmoor, a lefty can use. Savage vs Weatherby

The one I shot was for righty's, it seemed natural enough. Although, why should I learn unnatural movements? How hard is it to re-sell a lefty bolt gun? Savage has 3 left handed rifles in 6.5 CM under $1400, including the Tacticool one I was intially looking at. How accurate are the Savages...

I found some Ambidextrous Reciecer sets, what do you think?

Thank you for all your advice. I may use two of the three receivers. I am wanting to do a 300 BO and 6.5 Grendel semi auto build. American Defense for the blackout, SBR build. CMT or Mega for the Grendel build. Time will tell, thank you for your input all of it is appreciated.

Entry level precision bolt in 6.5 Creedmoor, a lefty can use. Savage vs Weatherby

This is not my only project, but I am falling in love with shooting. Time is my friend on this. I am willing to wait for a good sell and purchase used to knock down cost. I am a nearly a bolt virgin. Only fired one once, and it was suppressed. I am left eye dominant, looking for standard righty...

I found some Ambidextrous Reciecer sets, what do you think?

How can you tell the CMT upper is reinforced? What advantages will that give it? I am still leaning toward the American defense upper. Your vote of confidence for CMT helps.

I found some Ambidextrous Reciecer sets, what do you think?

I can assume it works as advertised, and that function is great. How is fit and finish? Is there anything you don't like about the receiver set? Any complaints?

I found some Ambidextrous Reciecer sets, what do you think?

I am researching completely ambi reciever sets to buy for an 300 BO SBR or 6.5 Grendel build (not an SBR). I wanted get your opinions and suggestions. I am not looking for a magpul bad lever. 1. American Defense is in the lead now. Although I dislike the aesthetics of the lower, they have great...

Suppressors Best can with the least amount of blowback

They are heavy, and complicated. But they are great for blowback. My friend has one, I have fired it. It is one of 2 rifle cans he owns, the other stays on a bolt rifle. He literally has no idea what gas blowback is. When I speak to him about it, he looks at me like I am making shit up.
