    Patrol Duty Belt

For the life of me I can't remember his name. There was a LEO who had a "system" of what to carry and where to carry it. When I watched a video it seemed to make sense. But, I think, everyone should base their loadout on is it ftunctional and is it the best in terms of weapon retention. One...

    Boot laces or other laces

The Rhino guys say that the sheath may get shredded, but the insides will still be bullet-proof, kinda literally. Methinks the magic material is a small diameter Kevlar core with a synthetic sheath. If you look at the pics of laces rolled up, you'll the ends pretty much sticking straight out...

Where, oh where has all the powder gone?

I started thinking about where all the powder has gone. Or, as I now think, WHERE is the powder? Yes there's hoarding. I've since found out that a large percentage of the powder we use is imported. And, the USA is probably the largest consumer. A good guess is that it is in a container on a dock...

THE person to call is Jim Briggs at Northland Shootes Supply. He is the man when it comes to anything that has to do with Savage barrels. Absolutely the most good to go person that you'll have the pleasure of talking/dealing with. He sells Shilen and Criterion barrels. FWIW I've way better...

Problems with stability of Swarovski ATX 95mm scope

Weight capacity really has nothing to do with how stiff it is. If the OP looks at his original setup there is wayyy to much distance between the tripod head mounting plate and the scopes mounting point. There's a whole lotta springboard there. Hanging a weight on the under of the tripod is a...

    Gunsmithing Broken Reamer, need advice

Coupla' things. Cutters with an even number of flutes are more likely to chatter than one with an odd number. Gunsmithing What is this called?

It is called a burr. They can be made from high speed tool steel or carbide. Even though it is called a burr, its' primary use is not deburring. There are, at least, a couple of dozen standard shapes. In fact, when you go to the dentist most people think the dentist is using a drill, its'...

    ??? house fire??

I might want to keep the amount of primers and powder you had, on the down low, if it's not too late. It's been a long time since I had anything like this to worry about but, from what I remember there maybe some nasty gotchas concerning the amounts you had on hand.

    Rifle Scopes Leveling your level

A topic that comes up frequently concerns scope and/or anti-cant device leveling. Many members consider a precision level is the best way to confirm/compare their devices accuracy.
