    I have my S&B in Badger rings on a 20 MOA badger rail. I want to to put a zero cant rail on the gun. Can I just undo the rings fro mthe base and leave the scope in there? WHen i mount the new base, i would just screw the rings on...??

    I have a 24" obermeyer AMU barrel on a 700 action. It has been coated in birdsong black T. If i want to reduce the weight could I have the barrel cut to 20"? how much weight would I save? What if I it was also fluted? I assume this would mess up the black T coating?

    Re: scope for my hunting rifle I have owned them all except USO. I now have a diavari 2.5-10x42 with #4. 15oz, 30mm tube,best glass, bold etched #4 glass reticle, FFP, 3.5" eye relief.

    What ranges have you shot a FFP on 6x at? 400? 500? I'm sure 300 would work.
