Re: Carry Ammo, How often do you replace with fresh? Usually around 6 months for the RNs and maybe once a year on the JHPs. Really don't much feel the need to switch them out aside from just wanting to shoot more often. JHPs have a longer shelf life fore me simply because I have been told too...- prekarious

New to the whole wsm thing and on an impulse buy bought the rifle. Savage 7mm WSM. Now looking at components and everything else has me scratching my head just a bit. Is one actually better than the other is is it just a prefernce vanilla vs chocolate thing? Has anyone run side by side comparisons of the 2? My standard dev has been mostly "just go mess with it" for plinking but now that I have the ability to actually dedicate time again will be getting more...- prekarious

Not that big on this one because I know what it is supposed to be and everytime I look at it that's all that I can see. I just moved to Rifle, finally got out of damned Cali and loving it- prekarious

Re: options from 30.06..... Oh there is no doubt that it will shoot. 300 yds I'm holding 5 inches with the aftermarket irons on it. More that I know what it is supposed to be and the wife said no more for now unless I get rid of one. This rifle happens to be the one that sees the least amount...- prekarious

Thinking that for now I'm just gonna glass it, possibly use one season to see if it won't grow on me a bit (in the right way)...- prekarious
