    wtf happened to my rifle?

i took off my muzzle brake for the first time since it was installed 3 months ago on my SPS AAC-SD, and was greeted by a good fun bit of corrosion. i have been using Sweets 7.62 to clean my gun, the bore looks fine. i guess running a few dry patches through wasnt enough, and some of it got into...

    Need some ideas '06'

Re: Need some ideas '06' i had loaded some 155gr A-Max's with 4895. the difference in recoil between that and the 175's was enough to make me go "whoa, the hell was that" XBR8208 is also an option.

    Near Kaboom--Wake Up Call!!

Re: Near Kaboom--Wake Up Call!! havnt run into this yet. i used to shake all the rounds next to my ear, but now that i picked up a few loading trays i just run a flashlight over the top and look down the necks, pretty easy to see the one with no powder, and with larger brass you will know...

    ..

Re: Going from civilian to military brass mind if i ask where you got that brass? i know the majority of it gets fired through M240's and is in pretty rough shape. i have 400 or so and 90% of them have a tiny dent in the side, probably from the belt links, i would guess.

    help me ID this rifle!

been lurking here for a while, and was hoping that somebody could remind me what manufacture and model of rifle i grew up shooting. details that i remember: 22lr, light color wood stock, 7? round magazine single stack. the best identifying factor will be the rear of the bolt. it was round and...
