Cases snug after FL resizing
Sounds to me like the three 'problem' cases didn't hold -.003 for whatever reason. With such a specific number (three thou) I assume you're using comparator? I'd re-zero the measuring instrument on a known fired case, and re-measure all of your sized brass. Sounds like your sizing die may...- AZ.noob

Need to work up load from scratch when changing Headstamps?
Your 'other' parameters (seating depth etc) should be GTG, I personally would want to re-verify a safe node before loading up a bunch of them.- AZ.noob

Need to work up load from scratch when changing Headstamps?
Loaded question (no pun intended). Should you start over? Probably. Do I? At the very least, I'll calculate -3% powder charge, load up a little mini-OCW spread, and re-verify the node. Unless you're going from Winchester brass (thin walled/light weight, high volume) to Federal or SSA...- AZ.noob

The Cheytacs and 50 BMG are the only cartridges my local range prohibits (along with all tracers, incendiaries, etc). Probably 416 Barrett also, come to think of it. Supposedly the berm may not be capable of containing them. WOW- AZ.noob

Post anything that has helped you as a reloader!
I've found that neck turning and consistent annealing produces the least runout. Although I really like Deadshot2's suggestion about modifying the seater cup with Devcon; I'm going to give that a try. Apparently that tip came from a BR guy... and I thought I was OCD. Those BR guys are...- AZ.noob

Winchester Super X
Automatch? My Ruger does pretty good with those, not as good as the Winchesters however. As far as the Winchester bulk (333, 555) I've found very little difference between those and Super X. Same dope, same POI. The bulk stuff produces more unexplainable flyers than does the packaged stuff...- AZ.noob

I just chrono'd my 'summer' load... in ambient temperature 40 degrees cooler than when I'd developed it. Even though MV was off by almost 100fps, SD was still 11fps. IMR 4350: burn rate too slow for 308?
yeah, it looks like I'll save it for 30-06. Sierra lists 47.8 grains as maximum charge pushing 190 SMKs (in 308 Winchester, that is) I measured out 46.3 (max -3%) just to gauge case fill, and that short little 308 case was about completely filled with extruded granules. IMR 4350: burn rate too slow for 308?
I stumbled onto a real good deal on a few pounds of IMR 4350, so I grabbed them obviously;) That propellant seems to be more popular for the larger capacity & magnum cases, but I do see 4350 listings for the heavies (190 and up) for 308 Winchester. Considering I live in the flippin desert...- AZ.noob
