Re: AR-10 Build Writeup
Many thanks for taking the time to share the build. My next project is to upgrade my AR-10 and your "recap" is just what I needed.

PS. I really enjoy your contributions to the forum.
Re: Aluminum Oxide source?
Many thanks for all the suggestions. I can get 90 grit at Tractor Supply but I was under the impression that 120 was the stuff to use.
Anyway, the M4agery's extension tube is the Guinnea Pig. I had to do a lot of hand machining to get the new buttstock on so I'll...
Re: Depth Micrometer Error
Using the ratcheting thingy on a flat surface I get + .001. I field stripped it and drowned it in Hoppes and still get + .001.
Does anyone have the procedure for adjusting the rod?
CT
Gentlemen,
Many thanks for all your advice in the past. I have a B&S 607 that is .001 off. Should I live with the error or adjust the rod?
Many thanks,
CT

If so, which Mitu model?
Thanks much,

Just kidding, of course. Many, many thanks,

I'm confused and need you guys to square me away on load development.
I've worked-up several loads for the 700 and AR-10. They are very accurate at 100 yards for factory guns and I'm happy. My current load for the 700 is 43.3 Varget under a 175 SMK. However when I read suggested loads on the...
I'm working up a 175 gr load for my stock PSS. Started with 43 - 46 GR of Varget seated to 2.800. 44GR appeared to be "the" load.
I went back to the range with 43.3-44.1 in .3 GR increments to confirm the load but seated to 2.810. 43.3 was "the" load.
I shot the loads in round robin...
