    I see a G1 BC of .661 for the 208gr ELDM. Since it’s lower, the Ballistic Calc will cause you to dial more. However, the I got that .661 number from the Applied Ballistics app. Also, if you are using corrected baro, you need to turn off “pressure is absolute”

    PRS Talk Ckye pod or super cal

    I have both and I am really digging the Ckye bipod. With the Short Action Precision lever, I like how easy it is to set tension and not have it cant on you. Also, the ability to change the legs angles and width, makes it versatile. It’s very stable with the legs spread too.

    The only open range that has 1K+ yards is Tradecraft in Immokalee. JTAC Ranch in Mulberry will open up sooner or later, and that will go to 2K yards. Also, I think the Volusia range will have about 1K yards soon. Ares in Leesburg goes out to about 900 yards too.

    Without it, it leaves a huge gap. GCP Rifle Co. is doing the same to my T6A too. However, I don’t think it needs to be cut down. Just remove the tabs that lock into the universal Arca rail and then screw onto the rear weight.

    Not a T4A, but just in case it helps, here’s a T5A. I had my Gunsmith from GCP Rifle Co., modify an Area 419 T6A plate. He had to cut it down to .115 and then screw it onto the rear weight to cover as much of the gap as possible. Figured you might be able to do something similar.

    This was my initial test using a 22” .223 Wylde barrel at .030 off the lands. This was last year and haven’t tried closer to the lands yet. I was using 8208XBR.

    Area 419 Arca lock or something else

    I am switching my standard Area 419 ArcaLock rails to the new tunable rail. Mainly because my rifles are a bit rear heavy. So installing the tunable rail helped balance the rifle out.
