You'll find neither are supported in the back so if you're aggressive with your tap/racks you'll break one eventually. The Gen II is supported a little more in front so it's less likely to happen. The optic isn't ideally suited for competition, the BDC doesn't match most loads, some of us don't want to shoot a piece of history, etc... My match rifle is down with a shot out barrel so I pulled out...- long-shot

1911 style safety for Ruger 22/45
Does anyone make a drop in replacement for the safety on a Ruger 22/45? It works but isn't quite right. I'd like to get all my parts together when I break into it to work on the trigger and get rid of that damn mag-safe disconnect. Thanks. jeff- long-shot
