    Accuracy International twist rates

Re: Accuracy International twist rates I'm sure it handles the 168 Fine. That's been the " standard " for many years. If I shot strictly 168s, I wouldn't worry at all. But I predominately shoot 175s, thus the reason I worry.

    Accuracy International twist rates

anybody running an AIAE or AIAW with a factory tube 1-12 twist rate with 175 grain FGMM or BlackHills? I am debating the barrel upgrade to the Bartlein 1-10 , but I am curious if the factory barrel will do the job with the 175's. Any help, group sizes, and photos appreciated. Ryan

    Crooked ass MUTHAf$@&er

Re: Crooked ass MUTHAf$@&er I'd like to whack the assembly line person with the hammer. All of my old 700 BDL Varmits Specials are great. Guess they were built when people actually gave a F@&K. Rant OFF.

    Crooked ass MUTHAf$@&er

Re: Crooked ass MUTHAf$@&er Yeah I know 3/4 is not that bad for a factory rifle, its just the principal of the matter. Like when you buy a new vehicle and find a fender, hood or door misaligned after you take delivery of it. Just kind of pisses you off. LOL.

    Crooked ass MUTHAf$@&er

Took one of my newer Rem 700 out of the stock to finally start a bedding job. It is a j-lock 700 VS in 22-250 I bought about 5 years ago new and shot maybe 30 rounds through. Low and behold, big green got me again. Recoil lug is not square to the action. Instead of being straight on at 6...

    AIAE mkII or AIAW

Re: AIAE mkII or AIAW I dont forsee any HALO deployments in the next six months or so, so I can safely say I dont think I'll be deploying from the air any time soon. If I understand correctly, both AE and AW come with 1-12 twist, BUT for a hundred bucks or so, you can upgrade to a BARTLEIN...

    AIAE mkII or AIAW

Ok, so I made up my mind, I want an AI rifle and not just a Remmy sitting in a chassis. I currently have a couple of KMW rifles, that just plain rock.... Couldnt ask for better..... However, I want an AI just because...I want an AI. Being an LEO, I get a nice discount if I buy new. My debate...

Rifle Scopes new Schmidt & Bender zeroing woes

Re: new Schmidt & Bender zeroing woes i just checked again. its got 5.6 L windage remaining, and 6.8 R remaining. so if you split the difference, it took .6 mils to zero. that makes me happier. mustve been a bad count at the factory

Re: new Schmidt & Bender zeroing woes base is tight, rings are slid forward in rail mount and torqued, caps are on straight and even. just my first FFP scope and was concerned if it took too much. kinda looking to hear what its taken others just to see if im in the ballpark
