    New project 700

    Picked up a new Rem. 700 SPS .308 tactical. Shopped around best deal I could find was $579.95 +tax, then I was mailed in the $40 Remington rebate that came with it. Big thanks to Williams Gunsight in Lapeer, MI.

    Re: Scope for new rifle Thanks for the feedback, I will forget the 20moa mount and get their tactical version instead. What's the benefit to 40mm vs. 50mm objective other than price? Most of my hunting scopes are 40mm or less.
