    Optimal Barrel Time and Quickload

I agree, I'm not using mine to full potential either. Please explain what the difference between barrel time and 10% PMAX to muzzle is. I'm not clear on that. Thanks-

    Thoughts on Quickload

I use it and find it particularly useful when figuring safe loads in semi-autos, by watching the muzzle/port pressure of a given load. It also works well when loading for cast boolits, as the pressure curve is apparent, and will give hints as to what powder and charge combos will work well...

    Ballpark fps on my load?

According to Quickload, you'll be getting 2696fps with 57,527psi pressure.

    Factory crimp dies

Forget the crimp. If you need a crimp, you don't have enough neck tension.

Chargemaster or beam scale? Your opinions...

Chargemaster all the way. THE BEST purchase I've made in the last 5 or so yrs.

    Whats spikes pressure more?

Quickload says to add 7200psi to the pressure figure when seating to the lands. That seems like a considerable jump to me, especially if the load is close to max already.

    IMR4759 & Quickload?

Can anybody help me with adding this powder to the database for some of my cast Boolit figures? Thanks-

    cast bullet sub-sonic loads

According to Quickload: Using a 24" barrel, 6.0 grns Greendot would give you 1096fps, fill 22.3% of the case, and yield 11120psi pressure. I know Alliant 2400 performs excellent in extremely reduced charges, but I don't know about Green Dot. My Quickload does not have WST in it's database. One...

Lot to lot variation on Alliant PP2000MR

Rather than lot variation..... Would it be possible that the year old powder was opened previously, and dried some, making it relatively lighter in weight? This could yield bigger volume-for-weight charges when throwing them,in relation to the newer, wetter, heavier powder . Just a thought....

    Redding T-7 modifications

Very accurate ammo. IMO the bushing modification is not needed. On my press, there is NO perceivable movement when putting a load on the ram/turret. It is like an "O" frame press with a Lazy Susan on top! Lol

Rifle Scopes Best illuminated Coyote scope for $350?

Would putting a red or green filter on one of my good Fenix lights work the same as the wicked light? Or does a filter act differently than a colored LED?

Redding Type S .308 Seating problems- Redding Customer Service leaves much to be desired

I'll be damned! I knew I could find a reason not to use the SS pins system! Lol Seriously, I'm always learning something on this site!

    RCBS Chargemaster Question.

Is the power conditioner a credible solution? I never thought that incoming "noise" in the power could affect performance, but it sounds possible!

Rifle Scopes Best illuminated Coyote scope for $350?

I just checked on the Wicked lights. Does the green and red LEDs not spook the game?

Rifle Scopes Best illuminated Coyote scope for $350?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.... I'm looking to put a cheaper illuminated scope ($350 max) on my 10-22 for backyard Coyote sniping. (22LR and head shots are a must, as I have to keep the noise down, and supressors aren't legal here.) Shooting would be out to 80 yards. I realize the...

New style Lee hand primer SUCKS!

I checked out this priming tool....very nice. I wish the "magazine fed" version had the adjustable depth feature that the single loaded version has.
