    Sling Opinions

Re: Sling Opinions Another vote for the TIS slip cuff with quick release. Its width distributes the weight of the rifle well and as a shooting aid it is second to none. I have mine set so I can slide my arm through the entire sling as a hasty-sling and the front loop set for prone and...

Re: BullDog Arms WWII Marine Camo I have to admit, I'm very curious to see what a stock would look like done up in that as well.

Mk 12 SPR 77 Gr Sierra King Match

Re: Mk 12 SPR 77 Gr Sierra King Match I used an NRA "Service Rifle" with a Kreiger 1/7.7 and I used 77's out to 300 yards with outstanding accuracy. Typically I used the A-Max's or 80's for 600 yards but they were single feed. I also have an old Knights SR15 match "MK12-ish" rifle with the...

Proud Parent of New GAP Baby

Re: Proud Parent of New GAP Baby That is a nice looking rifle. You need to be killing animals in Africa with a stock like that. Yep, that next to a Cape Buffalo would be just right.

    Leica CRF 1600 Pouch

Re: Leica CRF 1600 Pouch I use a TYR pouch that is made specifically for the kestrel and an PLRF. It fits the Leica 1600 and a kestrel perfectly. I've been using this for over a year now and it has held up very well. http://www.tyrtactical.com/products/deta...is-wheel-pouch/

    Looking to lighten my Rifle

Re: Looking to lighten my Rifle I recently built a rifle (6.5 Creedmoor) for my father and wanted to have it light and manageable for him due to some recent injuries and health conditions. I went with a standard fill for his McMillan stock rather than the sniper fill and I also put on...

    New AICS skins?

Re: New AICS skins? I heard the same. But one of the reasons was that AI, being a much larger company, was trying to knock Viper skins off of the market. This would allow AI to get the foothold that Victor Company had established. This is all information that I heard from some folks in...

contact info for Stu at Red Tac Gear

Re: contact info for Stu at Red Tac Gear I shot him an email through his website a few weeks ago. He got back to me the same day and had my modified gear out to me within a week. [email protected] If he is not answering at the moment my guess is that he may be away on a short vacation.

    Leupold Mk4 spotting scope Pros/Cons?

Re: Leupold Mk4 spotting scope Pros/Cons? Taliv, Could you describe the distortion in the glass and any problems you've encountered with it? I hear you on the tripod. I used a standard spotting scope on a PRS medium Silk once (completely extended while I sat in a chair) and the wind moved...

Gun show find: iScope for spotting scope

Re: Gun show find: iScope for spotting scope What a great training tool! Shooting video of conditions and providing instant feedback to a shooter could be a great training aid. Thank you for the heads up on this! I've sent them an inquiry already.

    Leupold Mk4 spotting scope Pros/Cons?

I had the chance to use a Leupold Mk4 12-40x 60mm with a TMR at one station at an LE sniper school a year or so ago. A few weeks ago I was spotting for another shooter and they had a the same scope with a Mildot reticle. I was impressed its light weight, compact size and of course the reticle...

Photos Phantom Finishing Mc Reese Stock with USO

Re: Phantom Finishing Mc Reese Stock with USO The photos don't do it justice. I had the opportunity to see this in the shop while dropping off a rifle. I believe Todd said he hand mixed the greens. Congratulations on a very nice looking rifle, now lets see you drive it.

Fraternal Twins from American Precision Arms

Re: Fraternal Twins from American Precision Arms Those rifles look/shoot great. The baker special is a nice stock choice. I'd love to see some more photos of those two.

    6.5 Creedmoor

Re: **6.5 Creedmoor Loads** Not on this load. Anything closer to or over 44.0 and yes but at this point it is looking good.

    6.5 Creedmoor

Re: **6.5 Creedmoor Loads** Big John, Thanks for the recipe. It grouped well and the brass/primer look fine. I'll take it out to 1K in June and see what the velocities look like. I was going to hang up the 140 VLD's but that 43.8 worked out to be the sweet spot for accuracy and brass life.

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards I'm definitely going to pick some up for the 6.5mm 123 Lapua. Please let me know when they are available on the site. BTW, any possibility of making a card of these that will drop into the FDAC for non-308 days?

The new Bat Tactical Actions (BTA) just arrived!

Re: The new Bat Tactical Actions (BTA) just arrived! That looks like a nice action. However, much like the 591's the rail stops at the front of the action. I don't suppose it would be possible to make one so that there is a longer rail section much like a Badger on a R700 or an RSR? With...
