    remington's new 700 long range!!

    Son of a bitch. I just got around to measuring some bullets with my stoney point 30-06 modified case. A speer 125 TNT doesn't even seat into the neck. A 175 matchking is barely in the neck, and can be wiggled out by hand. Looks like everything is going to get jumped a mile.

    Likely completely coincidental, but after the TR lawsuit threads started taking off I've been having connectivity and display issues with the website. The forum directories display fine, but when I view individual posts something crazy starts going on. Any thoughts?

    How the hell did Black Ops go out of business with all the interest in the 40x conversions? The one Orkan posted looks tempting, but at that cost you can buy a complete Sako Quad.

    It's a safe bet it's a 1:10. They don't offer 30-06's in any other twist.

    208 Amax, maybe. Some of the sleeker bullets like a 210 Berger, definitely not. That's why I went with something that uses an extended magazine.

    Didn't cost me a thing. I'm having German's gunsmith do the build because I knew he had the reamer and has a good reputation in the competition circle. I'm using a Stiller Predator action with the extra long box magazine cut as well so I shouldn't have to worry about seating depths.
