Rifle Scopes Sako TRG 22 mount question

There is also a roll pin holding the rail to the receiver. Once you get the machine screws out the rail will still be firmly held in place. You can pull straight up on the rail to unseat it from the pin, do not try to get the rail to come off with sideways pressure.

Rifle Scopes Sako TRG 22 mount question

I also use the sphur 4701 that locks into the dovetail. I haven't had any complaints about it. And just like the rifle above, I have an older version of the krg folder. I like it but I wish that I had the fixed version. The locking clamp is getting old and I've had it pop open and fold while...

Night Vision Opinions on Swarovski TM35 clip on thermal?

Really tempting. I would like to read some feedback on one though.

Best budget options for NV/thermal clip-on, mid range.

Live in a rural area and deal with predation of my flock. Last year it was fox with a den not far from the house. I ran a 22lr with a sightmark wraith. It worked ok for the short range (under 100 yards) but this year I have a lot of coyote droppings up close to the house and can hear their calls...

Zeiss LRP S3 or Leica PRS? (For PRS)

Sorry, just saw the tag. I like it, but I had very heavy mirage in the spring and it felt like the march did slightly worse than my PST 2. If I had time when I sighted it in I would have compared the mirage and image quality to my other scopes. I did run the march at a PRS match with heavy...

Steiner P4Xi or PA 3x micro prism?

While it might sound like an odd comparison, I am trying to get a rifle set up for a run-n-gun match in NC. I'm not an AR guy so I threw one together from parts because this rifle is rarely going to get used. As such it has a fat ass 16" bull barrel that a buddy gave me and she's a thick girl...

    Active retention holster for G17L

So I actually got semi-lucky and used TR Holsters. They made the standard OWB that I use for my 17L with surefire 300 and they offer a retention model that I was able to build with the same options. Down side is a 3-4 month lead time which puts me PAST the event that I needed it for. I ordered...

    Active retention holster for G17L

I am planning on a run and gun this fall and I will be shooting my 17L, its the only full size that I own. However, the event recommends that holsters have active retention. Does anyone know of anyone making a retention holster for the 17L? Safariland makes one in a GLS but that looks like it...

    Favored gun print magazines

I liked the small run I'm with Roscoe magazine. I only received one issue before they had the break up but it was nice to see a reader generated content magazine. I know they are still around as snub noir, but I never subscribed to them.

    Which bullpup for 2 gun?

I mean... I shoot IDPA with a 6 round 45 GAP... so I am known to do shit just because the gun makes me happy. PRS is my main gig, trying a 2gun match is just to shoot more and hopefully have another style of shooting to enjoy with my wife. I don't think a new semi is in the cards this year, but...

    Which bullpup for 2 gun?

Before you say none, please hear me out. I've been a bolt gun guy my whole life and I've wanted a steyr aug since I've been a kid but I don't shoot enough semi-auto to care enough about buying one. Now my wife would like to do some 2gun run and gun matches. We aren't going to be competitive...

tactical games typical stage round count.

We are out of shape after having our daughter, at this point in time we are happy competing for last place just as long as we finish. =) Thank you for the replies for the round count. I live in a ban state so I carry a 6rd subcompact (glock 39), I use it in all pistol classes I attend and...

tactical games typical stage round count.

I'm planning for 2024, though I might hit a training camp for fun. My wife actually found it and wanted to try it out.

tactical games typical stage round count.

I just learned about the tactical games series and I would like to go either at the end of this year or next year. The rules are pretty vague about round count, only stating that 5 mags per gun are required. Are mags loaded to maximum capacity or are there typical stage round limits like IDPA...

    Spuhr question for sako trg

Question: What is the screw for on the underside of the TRG spuhr mount? And does it have to be adjusted? Is the 45in/lbs enough to keep the spuhr held in place on the 17mm sako dovetail?

    Part fabrication for TRG 22

I will try to start a chat with customer service. I would like to try the TRG factory stock since I have it.

Zeiss LRP S3 or Leica PRS? (For PRS)

I went with the march. It was more than I wanted to spend, so hopefully I am happy with it.

Zeiss LRP S3 or Leica PRS? (For PRS)

I considered a razor but they are heavy and I have two vortex optics that will be going back to the mothership so I wanted to take a break from buying more of them. The deal on the older march is very tempting, that is a great price. I do hear that they have pretty tight eyeboxes though.

Zeiss LRP S3 or Leica PRS? (For PRS)

Foggy matches are obscuring steel after they get the paint beat off of them. Its time for an upgrade and my two highest priorities are clarity/contrast of the image and accurate turret tracking. I have known a few bird watchers that swear by Zeiss and Leica for optical clarity so I have been...
