    What did you do in the reloading room today?

    I hit my chronograph rods today with a different gun so I didn’t get to chronograph these 29.0 H110 w/ 180XTP. (photo) 6.5” 629 The 15.0gr load of HS6 load was chronographed and averaged 1356fps The 11.0gr load of Unique was chronographed and averaged 1227fps Both of these were extremely dirty.

    Got my Jewel trigger in and installed. It was set at 1.5lbs from the dealer and I will change the springs to get it lower. These were my best groups today.

    Loaded some different 44 Mag 180gr XTP loads to try. 29.0 grs of H110 11.0 grs of Unique 23.0 grs of 2400 15.0 grs of HS6 Other than the H110 load they are are “supposed” to be around 1300-1400fps

    I got to thinking about that straight trigger and the sporter stock. I just ordered a curved Jewel trigger (1.5oz to 3.5lbs) for it should be here later this week.

    Picked up a carbon barreled one yesterday. Pulled a 6.5x20 Vx3i off something else and installed it. If someone could help with the trigger modification I would really appreciate it. Is there a different post or photo essay.

    We used them as trainers at my old department some. They run pretty good, they like to be clean and wet. As far as accuracy we never really tested them but they shot around an 1” at 20 yards or so.
