Would prefer an optic line that has a 30x+ model in the lineup, so the reticle would be the same for the large frame, when I get an optic for that rig as well.     I have 2 hogan/POF large frame lowers I would like to convert to DPMS pins. I thought about just bushing the upper but if a professional shop can do ream the holes for me that would be great.

    Well I guess I can get a knights and shoot it all I want. I’m not sure how they make a barrel so it miraculously outlasts everyone else’s by almost 2 fold. But I guess at 30k worth of ammo….the cost of an upper is basically a drop in the bucket.

    Thats basically where I'm at. I only want to own 6-8 small frames including varmint rigs. I don't mind paying for quality but I want to be sure I can service it down the line, new bolt, new barrel, gas-tub etc. I'm trying to add knights to my LMT's. Ha.

    I have been wanted to pick up some knights uppers to shoot with and I was wondering if I can actually get a new barrel for them in the future? Do I need to worry about wearing them out? It seems like no one shoots their knights stuff.

    Yeah thats true but that still requires a spotter and shooter to gather ranges to know how much to spin the turrets on a Steiner IFS, plus that eats up the margin between the ExLR and UTCxii. 2 shooters both with TracIR can simultaneously work through a group of targets at unknown distances...

    I'm looking to buy a waterproof, or gore-tex rain shell that can be used to lay prone in the mud and shoot but stay dry. I have some arcteryx stuff but its too nice to destroy laying on shooting props.
