1 WEEK LEFT: This Target Haunts Me Contest
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I like scotch, some of my favorites in the $50 to $80 range. Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban, or La Santa. Aberlour 16. Glendronach Original 12 year. These are all highland malts and are going to be on the sweet and floral side, not smoky or peaty
I have a Liberty HDX -250 biometric on top of my dresser, it is 7" tall by 11" wide by 12" deep. I would recommend the Liberty biometric because it is fast and has a very fast opening door. From the time you put your finger on the touch pad until the door is open is 1.2 seconds. Before I bought...
In my small carry 9's ( Glock 43, Kahr P9 ) I have had good luck with Hornady Critical Duty 135 grain non +P. Also Hornady Critical Defense 115gr. non +P. If you are on a tight budget, Natchez shooters supply has PMC Starfire on sale for $8 a box
It's not a letter opener, the blade is 5.75 inches and very sharp, the handle is 4 inches. I am thinking that this could have been put together by my grandfather, he was very skilled at making things from leather metal and wood. I know he made several kitchen knives for grandma.
Does anyone know what kind of knife this is? It was my father's, he was in the army in the late 1950's. Trying to figure out if it's military or not. There are no markings on it.
I should have added a little more info. in my original post.
I am 6' 5" 275 lbs. I fill up my truck seat and am tight against the center arm rest. I can pull the pistol from my IWB holster but it is a slow and ungraceful process.
Anybody use a crossdraw holster?
How do you carry your ccw pistol while driving?
I normally use a Mitch Rosen IWB holster to carry a Kahr P9. This carry option is a poor choice while sitting in the car.
Or, in the car should the gun be unholstered and placed in the arm rest?
Looking for advice, thank you.
Looking for suggestions on holsters for my Kahr PM 9. Behind the hip and small of the back. Right hand. Also suggestions for a good belt. This will be my primary carry piece. Willing to spend for high quality stuff.
Thank you.
Re: Need Help: Benelli Super 90 Forearm
I sent the forearm off yesterday to Surefire. They told me that it would be fixed free of charge and returned in 2 weeks.
I just bought a 15 year old Benelli M1 Super 90 12 ga. Nice gun, used not abused.
The gun came with an extra forearm that is equiped with a flashlight and pressure switch. The pressure switch is about 5" long and runs length wise down the right side of the piece. I think that the pressure...
Re: Basic M-4 Carbine
I went ahead and bought the S&W M+P 15 from a local dealer who I do alot of business with, $925. Took it to the range today and put 100 rds. through it. I like it. Adjusted sights for 50 yards.
My intention is to keep this as my main house rifle.
I'm looking into getting a no frills, basic iron sighted, M-4.
I have limited experience with this type of gun, and I am on a tight budget. How much do I need to spend? What brands are good? Any and all comments are welcome, thank you.
