Paid cash for mine at 34. Debt free has been quite nice. Still surprising though how much it still cost to just live. Finally bought a new truck this year but payment is insignificant. With a house just wait and find the right deal. Rent until then… it’s a lot cheaper.- 458win

First figure out the wants: Single trigger or double Splinter or beavertail forend Straight or pistol grip stock I prefer the single trigger myself. I had a cz sharp tail because I thought it would be perfect. Well action was stiffer then stuff and trigger left a lot to be desired. Sold it...- 458win

Find a used browning superposed. May have to settle for a 12 though for the $1000. When it comes to doubles if you are not willing to spend the money for a good one then usually it leads to disappointment.- 458win

Had a couple foxpros a fury and can’t remember the other one. However on a trip to Alaska I wanted a call and cabelas had the icotech. Honestly for half the price of the foxpro it’s twice the call. Wish I would of gone with them first.- 458win

Different people have different ideas on what’s considered fancy or extravagant. Way I look at it If you like it, buy it. I’ll take modest well done hand engraving over fancy laser engraving any day. Of course fancy hand engraving is the cream of the crop.- 458win
