    Blending/fitting barrel stock channel (Tool??)

I don't have a mill, but I do have a router table. I chuck up a 3/4" or 7/8" cove bit and send my stocks through. This has given me the best looking, most consistent channels. THAT SAID, I've also been known to go to town with something like this. Sanding Drums

    Anyone shoot smallbore 3 position?

It's been decades, but I sure used to. I'm not sure my back would agree with me if I tried it these days.

    Model 70 Winchester Bull Gun

I don't want to see "a" snipers match, I want to see "the" snipers match. Snipers Match being a rifle model such as Target or Bull. It seems like most Snipers Match rifles were model 54's before they had the Bull model. Target rifles had the medium heavy barrels at 24", Snipers Match had an...

    Model 70 Winchester Bull Gun

I'd be really interested in seeing a snipers match rifle. I'd also be interested in knowing the barrel dimensions.

Rifles you have, but don't like.

Oh man, I've got a safe dedicated to hand-me-down rifles from grand parents and uncles. They're mostly no-name junk shotguns, but they held sentimental value to their owners, and they knew I would take care of them.

Looking at building a 25 creedmoor

If Sierra could come up with a 130-135gr Tipped Matchking, and make them consistently available, they'd be making this cartridge a winner.

    Mack Bro’s SS Evo

Sounds like they'll be selling the 223 bolt face actions either the end of this week or next week.

You ever come across one of those auctions that make you question how the person manages to operate a computer?

Times running out and the reserve isn't met yet. You guys better step op to the plate soon.

You ever come across one of those auctions that make you question how the person manages to operate a computer?

Some favorites: "It is one of 75 specially built for various Federal Agencies. The FDIC where I worked got 8 of these in 1989" Just ignore the RR prefix SN, which means its a freedom group build after 2007. "Do not ask who my son is - he does not want his name thrown out there for obvious...

I can't fathom putting this ad together with a serious face. GB link (definetly not mine)

    Martini MK111 ?

I'm a big fan of the older target 22's. My MKIII is an awesome shooter, and I'm not even that old .... well at least I wasn't that old when I bought the rifle......

    RimX 17WSM

I got my action from Northland Shooters Supply. Now I'm just waiting on Lothar Walther to make my barrel. I wish Zermatt would have had more barrel makers line up for prefits before releasing them.

    Winchester Model 54

Glad I could help and looking forward to some range reports. 250 Brass can still be had on Gbroker if you really get desperate. The more I think about it, I'm not sure a 22-250 FL die will work though. I'd consider using a bushing die instead.

    Winchester Model 54

Alright, I'm really going down the rabbit hole on this one. First, can you ask whoever you got the rifle from if there's any way to contact the original owners and see if they have any reloading dies/supplies? Next, bookmark this website...

    Winchester Model 54

That's a cool one for sure. I think you have the right idea to get the chamber cast. If it's a true vintage re-barrel, it could pre-date the 22-250 Rem and be a 22 Varminter. Might be worth checking the bolt head too to see if it's one of the wildcats based on the 30-30 case, which the Win 54...

Long Action AICS single shot bobsled?

Does anyone make a solid, flush fitting, AICS bob sled?

    Long action Prefit

I'm having a similar bottom metal/magazine issue right now. I've got a Origin with a HS stock and M5 bottom metal, but I've found I hate the magazines when shooting from a benchrest. I was hoping to just find a M5 BDL bottom metal, but the Hawkins only use the extended internal mags which...

    Introducing The OUTCAST

I'd like to see more info on how the Hankins system works. Like, how do you take the breech plug out for cleaning? Do you have to unscrew the entire barrel?
