    You can go the same route with a prefit and barrel nut system for Tikka from PVA. Know they are good rifles with lots of aftermarket support but I have never been a Savage fan.

    Have/had same issue but I find that after i cinch it into position if I pinch the buckle it "sets" it in the webbing and it wont move. While its one more step in getting into the sling I find the ease and speed of releasing it to be advantageous.
