    Hi! Can someone with a R700 with a 26" barrel and an AICS 2.0 please measure it folded?? I'm trying to see if it would fit in a Pelican 1700 case that's 36" (internal measurement) long. Thanks for any help!

    $800 was just an arbitrary number. I have no idea what all the equipment would cost, but I figured around $500 in equipment (press, dies, scales) and then $300 for actual bullet reloading supplies (bullets, powder and cases). Thanks all for the great info.... especially this cost breakdown...

    .308 20" 1/10 or 26" 1/12 for 1000 yards?? ....did I make the right choice??

    I've been told that the added velocity of the 26" is a huge difference after 700 yards and out to 1000. I've also been told that you need a heavy bullet in .308 to get out to 1000 yards accurately and that the 1/12 twist can't stabilize heavy bullets..... would the extra 6" of barrel help...
