Re: Who runs Hornady 75 BTHP the good info keeps coming!! I need some more RE15, once I pick it up, I will try the 75s over it. I loaded some of the 75s up from 22.5 to 24 grains of varget, cci 400s, PMC brass. Through my woa 1:7. This is what I came up with at 100 yds. (I was shooting...

    Who runs Hornady 75 BTHP

I picked up a box and will try em out through my WOA 1:7 SPR tube. Anyone have good accuracy load for these with either varget or re15 (what I have on hand). Is there a particular velocity or powder that they seem to reliably perform well with? So far I have worked up decent results from both...

    Ruger 10/22 Drooping Barrel

Re: Ruger 10/22 Drooping Barrel I had good success with my 10/22 by shimming the first inch or so of the barrel forward of the vblock with flat rubber washers. brought the poi up a bit, tightened groups up nicely as well. If you are into cheap, easy solutions, give it a shot.

    Bushnell 3200 10x ok for .22 trainer?

Re: Bushnell 3200 10x ok for .22 trainer? I always like to have some form of parallax adjustment on anything i want to shoot for top accuracy. If you pass on an AO/SF feature, then YOU have to get in perfect alignment with your optic every time. And put up with an out of focus image when...

    name that box test

I took three of my scopes to the range this weekend to run them all through a box test. All shooting was done at 25yds with my 10/22 off a bi-pod (I was working on loading the bi-pod as well, you can easily see my inconsistency). The scopes used were a 10+ year old tasco 2.5-10x42 varmint, 5...

    .223 SPR (77gr SMK) - 100 or 200 yard zero?

Re: .223 SPR (77gr SMK) - 100 or 200 yard zero? I am new to the precision ar field but I have had good success. Setting my zero range based on the size of the kill zone I am working with. When I hunted pdogs with my air rifles I used a 45 yard zero that got me Inside a 1" kz out to 55 yards...
