    Rifle Scopes Opinions needed please

Re: Opinions needed please I would absolutely upgrade that reticle and make sure the turrets match whatever system you choose.Mil/mil or moa/moa there is no "better" just whatever you're more comfortable with.

pole for the 300 bk and the 223, ?? to the hide

Re: pole for the 300 bk and the 223, ?? to the hide Few things to think about...... 300 Blackout most effective 300 yds and under, yes you CAN make hits at longer range but not much energy in the bullet 5.56 will be effective out to 800 with heavy bullets, maybe try a Mk12 clone or even a...

Night Vision Yukon Nvmt Laser 3X42 Night Vision Riflescope

Re: Yukon Nvmt Laser 3X42 Night Vision Riflescope A friend of mine purchased a similar unit but it was an ATN, also a Gen 1 for about the same money.I have looked through it and shot targets (steel) at nite at 250 yds. It's clear enough to "see" a target at nite and hit it, but not sharp...

    ruger M77

Re: ruger M77 It's a fine hunting rifle, and if you happen to have one of the tactical models or varmint rigs they're good shooters. As far as building a custom off one I think the biggest issue against it would be lack of a detachable magazine system.

Stainless steel model1 fluted barrel accuracy

Re: Stainless steel model1 fluted barrel accuracy Those barrels are E.R.Shaw if I remember correctly, and they DO shoot.I have one in 5.56,it's a 24" fluted on a varmint style AR and it's the MOST accurate semi I own.Puts 69gr pills into tiny little holes all day if I do my part.

    Cold weather shooting

Re: Cold weather shooting Are you sure it's not due to the fact that your AMMO is cooling down from being outside instead of a warm car? Some powders are very temp sensitive and will cause this.Try keeping the ammo warm OR at least the same temp from beginning of shoot to end.....
