    Trying to decide a 6mm chambering and am thinking about the 6 creed. One hangup is powder. I know I can get brass but am concerned about what seems like "the" powder - H4350. I have a few pounds but since I already use it for my 284 and 260, I wonder what other powder might work as well?

    Bench rest or match grade primers. Are they REALLY better than standard?

    6.5x47 Lapua 3850rds used 123gr Lapua with 37.2gr of R15. Had .085 throat erosion. Bartlein barrel 1/8 twist. First noticed flyers at about 3400 rds, then chased the lands. At 3800rds I was getting a little under 1MOA. Up to that point it was a 3/8-1/2 gun. Pics of cutaway chamber in link...

    Gunsmithing How do you clamp when bedding?

    I use headless bolts screwed down into the action with a bit of tape wrapped around the bolt for a tight fit in the pillars. The action is upside down when the stock is placed down over the screws. Making sure the stock is bottomed out I wrap the stock and action with masking tape.

    Rifle Scopes ACOG with loss of tritium?

    I have a ACOG TA31F with the chevron reticle. Got it new around 10 years ago, so the tritium illum is pretty well depleted. Although the fiber optic illum works just fine as everything else. Been thinking about selling it. How much does the loss of tritium affect the value of it?

    AZ.noob, I had to move the bullet up about .090. Had started with a OAL of 2.690 and was up to 2.780. Although I went with 2.750 because I had the bullet pretty far up there and had an unconfortable amount of bearing surface.

    I was running 123 Lapuas at 2900 fps. My load was 37.2gr/ R15. Great thing about this caliber is the brass life. Getting 30+ reloads
